Shopify Migration

Leave the site builder, keep the momentum

Wix gets a store online fast, but brands hit its limits on speed, SEO control, checkout options and integrations. By the time sales matter, the platform starts to decide what you can and cannot do.

I move everything that matters to Shopify and set the store up to grow: clean product data, a fast theme, and redirects for every Wix URL. The process follows my migration playbook, with store setup covered under Shopify store setup.

What you get

What you get from the move

Clean product import — products, variants, collections and images moved and tidied, with consistent titles and SKUs.
Content rebuild — pages, blog posts and forms rebuilt in Shopify with the same messaging and a better structure.
SEO carry-over — titles, meta descriptions and 301 redirects for every Wix URL, so Google follows you to the new store.
Faster storefront — a lightweight Shopify theme with image optimisation and good Core Web Vitals out of the gate.
App stack setup — reviews, email, shipping and payments set up with only the apps you actually need.
Training & handover — a recorded walkthrough so you and your team can run the new store from day one.

How it works

From first call to launch

Migration audit
A free call and a read-only audit of your current store: catalog, customers, orders, URLs, apps and integrations.
Mapping & redirect plan
Every product, collection, page and URL mapped, with a 301 plan that keeps your rankings intact.
Staging rehearsal
The full migration runs on a staging store first, checked line by line before anything goes live.
Cutover & 30-day watch
A planned cutover window, then 30 days of monitoring rankings, orders and tracking so nothing slips.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can Wix products be exported?

Yes. Wix exports products to CSV, which I clean and map to Shopify. Content and blog posts are moved with scripts or by hand where needed.

Will I lose SEO when leaving Wix?

Not with proper redirects. Wix URL patterns differ from Shopify, so every URL is mapped and redirected before launch.

Is Shopify more expensive than Wix?

Usually a little, but the extra checkout, apps and sales channels tend to pay for it quickly. I lay out the real monthly cost before you commit.

How much does it cost?

Project work is fixed-price against a defined scope, so you know the full cost before we start. The discovery call is always free.

How fast can you start?

Discovery calls happen within days; kickoff is usually 1-2 weeks out. If you have a hard launch date, say so on the first call and I will tell you plainly if it is achievable.
