Questions, answered

When do Shopify Scripts stop working?

Shopify has announced Scripts are being retired in favour of Functions. Check the current date in your admin; either way, migrating early is far safer than racing the deadline.

Can every Script be rebuilt as a Function?

Nearly all common use cases can, often more cleanly. Where a direct match does not exist, I propose the closest native or app-based option.

Do I need Shopify Plus?

Scripts only run on Plus, and some Function types need Plus too. Custom apps with Functions can also run on other plans for certain use cases.

How much does it cost?
