Six steps from brief to handover

What the app developer must deliver, by when, and what done looks like. Include links to sites or tools you like.
- Shortlist three to five people
From referrals, marketplaces or portfolios. Install one of their apps from the store and use it for ten minutes.
- Run a small paid test
One screen that loads data from an API, with loading and error states. A half-day task like this shows quality and communication.
- Agree scope and milestones
Fixed price per milestone, with acceptance criteria you can check.
- Handover and ownership
Get the code, accounts, docs and a walkthrough before the final payment.
