Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains what personal information omermuneer.com (the "site") collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It covers every page on omermuneer.com, including the Library, the Blog and the advisory pages.
Who is responsible for your data
The site is operated by Omer Muneer Qazi ("I", "me", "we"). For any privacy question or request, email [email protected] with "Privacy" in the subject line. I aim to reply within 30 days.
Information collected
Information you give me. When you email me, message me on WhatsApp, or fill in a form, I receive what you send: usually your name, email address or phone number, and the content of your message.
Purchase information. Library guides are sold through a third-party checkout provider (Stripe and/or Gumroad). The provider collects your payment details directly; I never see or store your full card number. I receive your name, email address, country, the guide you bought, the amount paid and the transaction ID, so I can deliver the file, answer support questions, process refunds and keep tax records.
Usage information. When you visit the site, your browser automatically sends technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This is collected by the hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) and, where you allow it, by Google Analytics.
Cookies and similar technologies. See the cookies section below.
How the information is used
- To deliver the guides you buy, send download links and provide support (performance of a contract).
- To answer your messages and enquiries (legitimate interest, or steps you asked me to take before a contract).
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site (consent where required, otherwise legitimate interest).
- To show advertising that funds the free articles (consent where required, otherwise legitimate interest).
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation and legitimate interest).
I do not sell your personal information for money.

Advertising and Google AdSense
The site uses Google AdSense to display advertising.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's My Ad Center (Ads Settings). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices (US) or www.youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Other Google-certified ad technology providers may also serve ads or measure ad performance on the site through Google's systems. The list of these providers is available in the consent dialog and in Google's ad technology providers list.
If you decline personalised advertising, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads, which use cookies only for purposes such as frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated reporting.
Consent for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform that integrates with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework asks for your choices before advertising or analytics cookies are set. You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the "Privacy and cookie settings" link on the site or by clearing your cookies.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic in aggregate (pages viewed, time on page, device type, approximate location). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Who your information is shared with
- Payment and delivery providers (Stripe, Gumroad) to process purchases and deliver files.
- Hosting and security (Cloudflare) to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
- Analytics and advertising (Google) as described above.
- Communication tools (Google Workspace/Gmail, WhatsApp) when you contact me.
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law, or to protect rights and safety.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and, where applicable, a data processing agreement.
International transfers
I work from Pakistan and the providers above process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred, the providers rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long data is kept
- Purchase and tax records: as long as tax law requires (generally up to 7 years).
- Messages and enquiries: up to 3 years after the last contact, unless an ongoing relationship needs them.
- Analytics data: according to the retention setting in Google Analytics (14 months).
- Advertising cookies: according to Google's cookie lifetimes, typically up to 13 months.
Your rights under GDPR and UK GDPR
If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise a right, email [email protected].
Your rights under US state privacy laws (including California CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you can ask to know what personal information has been collected about you, ask for a copy, ask for correction or deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Using personalised advertising cookies may count as "sharing" under these laws. To opt out, use the consent or privacy settings link on the site, the Google opt-out links above, or email [email protected] with "Do not sell or share" in the subject. I will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
In the last 12 months the categories of personal information collected were: identifiers (name, email, IP address), commercial information (purchases), internet activity (pages viewed), and approximate geolocation. Sources and purposes are described above.
Children
The site is intended for adults starting or running businesses. It is not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, email me and I will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and payments are handled by PCI-compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above changes too. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
