Hire InDesign Expert — multi-page documents built to print correctly
Long documents expose every shortcut — inconsistent headings across 200 pages, tables that break, a catalog where prices were typed by hand and three are wrong. An InDesign expert builds documents as systems: master pages, paragraph and character styles, GREP patterns that fix typography automatically, and data merge that generates a 500-product catalog from a spreadsheet instead of manual labor.
I'm Omer Muneer Qazi, a Dubai-based Fractional CTO & Solutions Architect with 15+ years of experience and 100+ projects delivered across 6 countries. Document work through me arrives preflighted and print-ready — the file your printer accepts on the first upload. For the product photography that fills those catalogs, you can hire a Lightroom expert on the same pipeline.
Documents engineered for length and print
Multi-page layout design
Brochures, lookbooks, magazines, and annual reports designed with real editorial craft — grids, rhythm, and typography that hold attention across hundreds of pages.
Master pages & styles
A style architecture — master pages, paragraph, character, and object styles — so a global change takes seconds and consistency is structural, not hoped for.
Catalog & lookbook production
Full catalog builds from product data: consistent product blocks, pricing, pagination, and indexes, designed for both print and digital editions.
Data merge & automation
Spreadsheets merged directly into layouts — hundreds of product pages generated accurately — with scripts that handle repetitive layout tasks.
Preflight & print-ready PDFs
Every file preflighted: fonts embedded, images linked at correct resolution, bleeds and marks set, color modes verified — accepted by printers first time.
Interactive & digital PDFs
Digital editions with navigation, hyperlinks, embedded video, and accessible tagging — the same source file, properly exported for screen.
From content to press-ready document
A structured engagement with no surprises — you’ll always know what’s happening and what’s next.
Content & spec review
We review your content, page count, print specs, and deadlines — and flag content gaps before design starts.
Style system build
The grid, styles, and master pages are built first and approved on sample spreads, so the full document inherits good decisions.
Full layout
The document is laid out against the approved system, with data merge handling repetitive sections and designers handling the craft pages.
Preflight & delivery
Final preflight against your printer’s specs, then delivery of print PDF, digital PDF, and the packaged InDesign source.
Why hire an indesign expert through a Fractional CTO
Long documents are data problems wearing design clothes — and data problems are my home turf. I make sure catalog and report work is built on merge, styles, and automation rather than manual layout, so next year’s edition costs a fraction of this one.
I verify the technical layer — preflight, color, fonts — before you ever talk to a printer. For documents that must print correctly the first time, contact me with your page count and deadline.
Frequently asked questions
Can you take over our existing InDesign files?
Yes — I audit them first. Files built without styles get rebuilt properly; the audit tells you honestly whether rescue or rebuild is cheaper.
How do you handle catalogs with hundreds of products?
Data merge from your spreadsheet or PIM, with styled product blocks and automated pagination. Manual layout at that scale is how pricing errors happen.
Do you deliver files our printer will accept?
Every file is preflighted to your printer’s spec sheet — or to standard commercial specs if they have none. Rejected uploads are not part of the plan.
Can the same file produce print and digital versions?
That is the correct way to work: one source InDesign file, exported as print PDF and interactive PDF. Two separate designs is paying twice for one document.
What about accessible PDFs?
Tagged PDF structure, reading order, and alt text can be built in for compliance needs — scoped upfront since it changes the build process.
Build your next catalog or report properly
Share your page count, content state, and deadline — and I will scope a document build that prints right and updates cheaply next year.
